I was employed as an intern at the African Robotics Unit at UCT. I worked alongside two other inters in assisting a post-graduate student in improving their sea-ice imaging rid. My role was the power management design. The main deliverables were two PCB's, one to distribute power within the rig, and another to be used as a temperature controller. The work also involved programming an STM32 Nucleo microcontroller.

At the beginning of 2023 I got involved with Club Electron, which is an educational academy passionate about educating children in areas that will be relevant in the 4th industrial revolution. My duties involve teaching grade 3 and 4 students block-based coding and robotics as an extramural activity.

I was tasked with converting existing forms to HTML templates that would work with Thought Express’s existing database. In order to do this, I had to spend time learning their system, as well as the Mustache logicless template engine in HTML.Additionally, I was involved in mainframe conversion, which entailed converting read-in hex characters into usable data from an old database.

Since the beginning of 2021 I have been involved as a course tutor for various courses at UCT. The courses I have been involved with include: Control Systems Engineering, Introduction to Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Design Principles, and Electronic Devices & Circuits.
